Mystic River Boathouse Park
The Town of Stonington is considering purchasing land for the creation of the Mystic River Boathouse Park (on Greenmanville Avenue – Route 27, property immediately north of Latitude 41 Restaurant). A vote will be held at a town meeting on September 20, 2016 at 7 PM at Stonington High School. We will be voting "YES" for the purchase, and we hope you will join us.

The Board of Selectmen and Stonington Board of Finance have endorsed this project as a historic opportunity to create the first town-owned waterfront park that will afford public access to the Mystic River, enhance the gateway to Mystic and facilitate opportunities for recreation.  The park will offer non-motorized access to the Mystic River for all Stonington residents to enjoy.

This phase of the project is limited to acquiring the property, demolishing the existing building and conducting any necessary remediation of the site. The estimated cost is $2.2 million.

If you are doing fall crew and have not received emails from "Stonington Crew" please use the link below to join our Team/Families mailing list!
